Face it, no matter the set of wheels, you will have to, whether you like it or not, finally put in the massive effort and change the whole set of tires. Cheap tires will need checkups more often though, so if you are willing to make the extra tiny work every once in a while, or if you love your car so much you keep checking them every hour, then cheap tires will be your salvation. Since cheap tires are usually less durable, these are some tips on knowing when to replace your cheap tires for another set of them.

The most crucial thing about it is the depth of the tread. Tread on a wheel is the pattern that runs through them. This is what makes your tires grip and all that. Your thread depth must never get below 3/32 of an inch. This is the red alert zone if they are not deeper than 3/32 of an inch. You should get your tires replaced as soon as possible if you see this.

To check it, it is very simple, just take any quarter and turn in upside down. You then put George Washington’s head into the tread of your cheap tires. When it reaches the maximum depth, you must not be able to see George Washington’s head. If you see it, then it’s really time for you to change those cheap tires.

Another thing to check on those cheap tires is if the pattern, or tread, is slowly fading or smoothened evenly. You need to see that it is wearing evenly, if not, then you will have to change your tires or else it will be damaged even faster and put your life at risk. Another dangerous thing about seeing them not wearing out evenly is a sign that your cheap tires are not properly aligned or the tire pressure is not correct. These are very easy and not time consuming tips that will make sure you use the most of your cheap tires.

The last thing to check is when you are driving, you will notice sometimes that while braking, you are not getting the amount of deceleration as you usually get, if it takes 50% more time to slow down to a halt, you know your cheap tires are expiring, so consider changing them.

So there you are, with the easy tips on maxing out your cheap tires. Seriously, how much time does it take you to push a quarter down the treads of a tire? How long does it take to see if the wear on the tires are even? Just make sure you do this often and you won’t meet your mechanics often.

Right as you may know, there is a saying that goes “cheap thing never good, good thing never cheap”. This is sadly true. Cheap tires will not be able to compare to a same class of premium tires. They usually lack the mileage or the skid resistance that the other have. You might then think cheap tires are not worth it. It all depends on you, if you buy cheap tires, it’s because you know you can save on it or because you will not use your tires that much.

Nowadays, the cheap tires mostly will lack the mileage that expensive brands have. That’s because they are made from a lower grade material, which makes it available for a cheaper price. As you know, when buying cheap tires, you are banking on quantity, not quality. Your cheap tires will probably not make it from Alaska to Las Vegas, but they will sure make your money feel worthwhile. Though if you know that you will be doing the interstate often, you might not consider buying cheap tires as your primary option. It’s better to buy one great but expensive set of tires than having to buy a lot of cheap tires on the way to you destination.

Cheap tires will have less resistant pattern on the wheels. Just imagine for a second, it’s very easy. People put chains on their wheels during snowing period, it’s because the pattern on the wheels cannot grip to the ice on the road. But under the weight on the car, these chains will grip on the ice. Now imagine driving around 60MPH on a road with two cars side by side. One of them has cheap tires, the other one has the most expensive tires. It’s only logical that, driving at the same speed, the one with cheap tires will skid the most on ice. It’s because the pattern on the wheels are vital in grip.

The last thing that will probably discourage you is how they face wears and tears. Cheap tires will be most susceptible to get a tire puncture if driven over something sharp. Of course, once again, it’s about the quality of the materials used to make the cheap tires. So basically cheap tires have the advantage of being a money-saver, good for low miles cars but will not make the cut when you have to drive a long way and will not be resistant to the daily wears and tears. So be sure to consider these before you invest in a set of cheap tires. This will either save you a lot of money upfront, or save you a lot of money afterward so you don’t have to buy again.

Tires are very important commodities for a vehicle and although we are gifted with these pneumatic round objects, most of us do not know how they are made and of what they are made. Tires are made using as raw materials rubber, carbon black and other chemicals. The process can be broken down to steps that involve compounding and mixing, component preparation, tire building, curing and final finishing.

Compounding and mixing as the name suggest is to group all the required materials together and to prepare for mixing which involves blending all the materials together so they become a homogenous element. This process may be repeated several times to produce different grade of tires such as expensive or cheap tires. The next process is the component preparation which consists of two steps, namely extruding and calendaring. An extruder machine will apply heat and pressure to the rubber material, vulcanize it and cut it down to required length for the next step. A calendar is then used to squeeze the rubber material into very thin sheets and sliced to the required dimensions for a very specific kind of tires.

The next step is tire building. In this step, the rubber compound is going to be assembled onto a tire building drum which can either be operated manually or automatically. The very first step is to align the inner liner, body piles and sidewalls around a drum where beads are placed and then finally turned over. This process is a huge factor in determining the outcome of a tire. More sophisticated equipment will produce better tires while using less sophisticated or less materials will result in cheap tires. The second step consists of inflating and shaping the tires.

Curing the tire is the next step to follow. This process is a fairly simple on where pressure is applied to the tire in a mold to give it its final shape. Hear is also applied alongside various other chemicals to achieve the rounded pneumatic tires. Each brand of tires and size of tires will have a different PSI (pressure measurement for tire inflation). It means also that cheap tires will have a different PSI compared to expensive ones.

The final process in making tires is called the Final Finish. They go through several tests, including the tire uniformity test which involves running the wheel on a prepared road surface, running inflated and half inflated to see whether they correspond to the required standard to be sold. Another test is to be inspected by human eyes for defects or incomplete filling or even blisters that can be very dangerous if sold. Cheap tires will have lower standards while more expensive ones will reach higher standards.

A big grey area in many accidents or little incidents is whether the driver is responsible or else the car. Around the world, more than 10 million accidents happen every year and many debates still go on as to whether most of them are caused by the driver or they happened due to the car or car parts. A main culprit that many like to aim at is cheap tires. Most of the time, people would blame tires as most of the accidents involve slipping or drifting before an impact. It is not deniable that in certain cases, cheap tires are really the cause of an accident, but if you look at the bigger picture, driver negligence has to be present somewhere.

Many people buy cheap tires to equip their car rather than getting expensive ones. They often get a good deal out of it as they are still okay and they are cheap. But sometimes, it can be a real catastrophe if you do not pay attention. Trying to snatch deals of cheap tires can be dangerous if you do not check properly before buying them or regularly maintaining it after you bought them. It has been proven that over seventy percent of accidents are caused by human mistake or negligence.

One main concern will be pressure on the tire. Most people will only fill pressure up their tires when they see them very deflated. This is a common mistake. You should always check tire pressure with a pressure gauge every month to see whether there is a problem with your tires. You should particularly pay attention if you bought cheap tires as they might have other hidden issues such as a faulty valve stem or else even air leaks. Be sure to check well and in case the problem persists, the first thing you should do is to send it for repair.

Another advice is to check for your tire alignment once in a while. Most people are not aware of what it is. You can feel your car need tire alignment when you feel your car pulling to one side while you are driving. This is not something to be neglected as they can wear your tires down very fast whether you bought cheap tires or very expensive ones. It can often also be the cause of accident since the tire will not respond properly to your wheels turning. So be sure to check for tire alignment often to avoid any problem.

Rotating tires will also increase the life span of your tires. The process is simple and involves exchanging the tires position. For example, swapping the front tires to the back or swapping the left to the right. This is done for a very simple reason. When you turn, only the front wheels turn and therefore the tires do not wear out the same. Rotating the tires will make sure they wear out the same.

Well, this is a very touchy subject. Most car users will probably tell you yes, while the high-end users will tell you definitely not. Cheap tires when talked about, they will all think in one way though. It’s made in China and it’s not safe enough. But rest assured, you are totally mistaken. Cheap tires do not mean it is not good, it only means it is not as expensive as the ones you would otherwise buy.

There are a lot of different ways to buy cheap tires. You may either choose to buy a more suited tire for the horse power your car is packing, instead of buying a very expensive and great tire that your car will never match. Or you may buy those after taking a whole view of the area on where you can find cheap tires. But as we believe, there are always some cheap tires that will suit your need without so much as sacrificing the most important feature: safety.

If you really are into cheap tires, then you need to know that is a fifty-fifty win or lose situation. Most of what you have heard about them is quite true. It might not last a much as the expensive one, but these cheap tires will at least make your money worthwhile. It might be even better; it all depends solely on one person: You. If you regularly check your tires, you will find out that it will bring out the best performance that even your previous tires will be shy when compared to.

But there are little setbacks. Sure everything has its pros and cons. You might have a big problem like the tires giving up on you about a few weeks after you bought them. That might make you angry or doubt those cheap tires. But like every setbacks there is, there’s always a reason. Cheap tires still have tests that they passed. This means most of the time it’s the user’s own fault. Do try to really pay close attention to those tires when you have some time. Simply looking at it or pushing it with your hands or legs will not let you know if there is something bad going on.

Check the pressure once in a while and just have a close look at those marks or pattern to see if it’s all been smoothened out. This might save you from making mistakes. Cheap tires are of course cheaper, but it all depends on how you take care of them, so do not be afraid to get close to save you the hassle of kicking into it if they fail.

What most people do not know is that there is a set of “rules” that everyone needs to know before actually going to buy a set of cheap tires. There are a lot of options when it comes to buying a new set of tires. But are you buying the cheap tires that you need? This article will guide you more into finding the right set of tires for your car.

A lot of people just spot a very nice ride, be it a Lamborghini, Ferrari or a modified SUV, they literally fall in love with the tires that these cars have. But what they don’t know is they are falling for the most obvious traps. Why do you think that in every showroom, you see a lot of brand new, sparkling and big tires? Why don’t they expose the user-class tires? That’s because it’s a trick, people always want the best or the most beautiful one.

But does your car really need a hyped-up tire when you can easily do the same mileage on cheap tires? A set of tires on a Lamborghini is definitely not what is needed for your Toyota Prius. So consider cheap tires, those that have a smaller speed rating, because most city cars will never exceed 150MPH. So you see it’s all about choosing the one which fits the speed of your car. Sure you can go and buy the 150MPH tires to show-off, but will it be worth it? Is showing off better than saving a few hundred bucks on upgrading your ride? I don’t think so. Since your car will never reach the 150MPH bar, consider choosing lower-end cheap tires.

The next important is about the conditions around which you will be driving more often. If you only drive within city, a Grade A will be your choice compared to grade B. As the name implies, Grade A is better performing. Since in the city, you will be breaking a lot more than in a farm or country side roads, you will need better and cheap tires. If you think you will be hitting the highway most of the time, then grade B cheap tires is your surest choice, since they will not break as often. Do think about harsh conditions like snowing regularly. This is not the wisest time to choose cheap tires or B grade tires if you stay in a region where snow falls often. It’s then preferably better to buy better tires.

So how you choose your tires is all up to you. As a final note, don’t forget to check the warranty that comes with the cheap tires.

Tires nowadays are very abundant but most of them are very expensive. A lot of them, whether they are Firestone tires, Michelin tires or any other brand, they are way too expensive for the average users who are just looking to change a set of worn-out tires. This article will show you how to spot and buy cheap tires.

The main concern about people who are considering buying cheap tires is they fear that they will compromise their safety just to save up a few dollars. But “cheap tires” does not mean that it’s dangerous. It only means you are not being fooled to buy expensive tires.

Most people will go to the most beautiful or the most well-known garage to replace their tires. This is one of the biggest mistakes. By going directly into one shop, you may think you got the best deal, but the trick is to visit at least three to four garages, so you can compare and decide. A lot of customers regretted instantly right after they bought their new tires because there were some other places where it is cheaper.

Get informed. Ask around for your friend or your friendly neighborhood mechanics. They always know or have heard from someone else where they got their cheap tires. It is one of the surest ways to find cheap tires. And the plus side, it does not cost you a dime! You get all the information needed and you’ll be sure about your next purchase.

And if you are one of those shy guys, or not really a social guy, you are truly blessed. The internet is the answer to your prayer. Websites like E-bay or Amazon are very popular for a price reference. It’s always important to check if the price you are getting is reasonable. Checking on the internet will even let you compare and get all the cheap tires for nearly nothing.

Once you have made up your mind, go with confidence and don’t be afraid to bargain, ask for a reduced price if you buy a whole set, because it’s usually something that is done. Also check for warranty on the tires. All tires must come with a certain quantities of years or number of kilometers. It there is no warranty, no matter how cheap it is, if you do not have warranty to go with your need, you are literally wasting your money because no matter what cheap tires you have, you need a good warranty or you’ll end up spending more than you imagined, you’ll be spending a lot to replace those tires. So think well about these tips and hope you spot all the best deals!
